Welcome to use PetDuo products and services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect your personal information, as well as your relevant rights.
Please read and fully understand the entire content of this Policy carefully before using the Product, especially the important clauses marked in bold. Your commencement of using the Product shall be deemed that you have read, understood and agreed to all contents of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please stop using the Product immediately.
I. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
1.Basic Operation Information
To guarantee normal product operation, optimize user experience and troubleshoot faults, we collect basic device‑related information including device model, operating‑system version, unique device identifier and network status. Such information is only used for product adaptation, performance optimization and security risk control, and will not be used to identify your personal identity.
2.Information Collection for Core Functions
To implement various product functions, we will request corresponding system permissions and process content submitted by you:
(1) Pet Sound Translation: Requests microphone permission to record pet vocalizations and complete AI translation. Recorded audio is used solely for this translation service. Without your separate authorization, it will not be stored or used for other purposes such as AI training.
(2) Pet Filters & Perspective Popular‑Science: Requests camera, photo‑album / storage permissions for shooting or selecting materials to generate filter effects. Relevant materials are stored locally on your device by default. We will not pro‑actively upload them or use them for other purposes.
(3) Pet Photo Analysis: Requests camera, photo‑album / storage permissions for taking or uploading pet photos to complete AI analysis. Uploaded photos are used solely for this analysis service. Without your separate authorization, they will not be used for AI training, commercial promotion or other purposes.
3.Principles for Information Usage
(1) We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for product functions, and will not collect information by means of fraud, misguidance or coercion.
(2) You retain ownership over uploaded content such as audios and photos. We use such content only within the scope necessary for service delivery.
(3) If your information is to be used for purposes not specified in this Policy, we will obtain your separate consent in advance.
II. How We Share, Transfer and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information
1.Principles of Sharing and Transfer
(1) In principle, we do not share or transfer your personal information to third parties, unless we obtain your separate consent or comply with mandatory requirements under applicable laws and regulations.
(2) We will not sell your personal information to any third party.
2.Necessary Cooperative Sharing with Third Parties
To realize product functions, we may entrust legally‑qualified third‑party service providers to deliver technical support services (such as cloud storage and AI computing‑power services). 1.Storage Period

(2) Pet photos, audios uploaded by you for analysis and content stored on your local device shall be managed by yourself.

(1) We adopt industry‑standard technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal information, including but not limited to data encryption, access‑permission control and security auditing, to prevent information leakage, loss, damage or unauthorized access.
(2) We have established a comprehensive information‑security management system to exercise full‑process control over information processing. Please understand that due to technical limitations and potential malicious attacks, we cannot guarantee one‑hundred‑percent absolute security of information.
In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, you enjoy the following rights with respect to your personal information:
1.Right of Access, Copying and Rectification
You have the right to access and copy your personal information held by us; if you find inaccurate or incomplete information, you have the right to request us to rectify and supplement it. You may exercise this right by contacting us via the customer‑service email specified in this Policy.

After revocation, relevant functions may become unavailable, while other functions remain unaffected.

If you have any questions, comments or complaints regarding personal‑information processing, please contact us via the customer‑service email specified in this Policy. We will respond and handle your request within 15 working‑days upon receipt.
1.We do not pro‑actively provide services for minors under 18 years of age. If you are under 18 years old, please stop using this Product immediately.
2.We will not pro‑actively collect personal information of minors. If we accidentally collect minor‑related personal information, we will promptly delete such information.
VI. Updates to this Privacy Policy
1.We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to legal‑regulatory requirements, product‑function adjustments or operational needs. Revised versions will be published within the Product with the update date adjusted accordingly.

Your continued use of the Product constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. If you disagree, please stop using the Product.
1.The formation, validity, interpretation, performance and dispute resolution of this Policy shall be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.
2.Any dispute arising out of this Policy or Product services shall first be settled through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission for arbitration in accordance with its arbitration rules effective at that time.
